Sorry no pictures,
I'm up north a little east of Rick(ND) and James(ND) territory again. Been working on the cabin but have got out playing in the dirt a couple of times. Today hit a church that I have driven by dozens of times over the years. Finally found out who to ask for permission and it was granted. Found one clad dime and one Lincoln, the rest were older. Got six indians, five buffalos, one V, one merc, one barber dime, plus a handful of wheats. I suspect it had been gone over with a lesser detector, the silver coins were next to trash. But pretty close to virgin territory.
Again amazed what coins from sandy soil look like, and how shallow they are. Also hit a resort yesterday and picked up three roosies, two mercs, and another handful of wheats. Many of the coins look like they could have come from your change, cents still red. Many of them inch or so deep.
No key dates but all the all the buffalos have very strong dates 1916-d is the best.
Just great fun detecting when a shallow zinc hit usually turns out to be a IH. And beautiful to be out on a country dirt road, little traffic, perfect weather.
Will post some photos when I get back to Wisconsin.
