Six gold rings for 2008.............

I headed of to an old park in LR this morning. Dates back to the early 1900's.

I had my Compadre and started MDing around some swings that are close to
some pavilions. As I was trying to wade through a bunch of trash, I noticed what
looked like playground equipment off in the distance. I drove over there and low
and behold there's another playground I did not know existed.

I started detecting there and found a bunch of clad and a button with a fake
diamond. The phone rang and my son informed me that he was leaving on a
skate board trip and his skate board was in the back of my car.

I didn't want to give up but I had to go. When I got home I started to stay there,
but I snuck out the door. I'm glad I did.

When I got back to the tot lot I found a fake diamond stud ear ring and then I
found a bent up little gold ring.

It is a 4.17, or 10k gold ring. It says "GIRL" on the front of it.

I guess that makes six gold rings for 2008 already.

Looks like you're on a gold roll Bro! That's exactly were I found my first and only (so far) gold ring; around a park swing set. It was about 3" beneath the gravel. I hunt around the swing sets as much as possible. Nice find.
