Dear fellow Treasure Hunters and their wives!

Do you know please what was the last year when silver dime was manufactured, silver nickel, silver quarter? And also the last year of wheaties?

Tanto grazie!!

i believe 1964 for dimes & quarters, silver nickels only in 1943 (war nickels) not sure on wheats im sure someone here will have better answers......diggitdawg

For 90 percent silver, the dimes quarters and half dollars ended in 1964. 90 percent silver for dollars ended in 1935. Nickels were 35 percent silver from 1942 - 1945 (although there are some 1942 nickels that are not silver). The half dollars from 1965-1970 are partial silver. Some dollars from 1971 - 1976 are also part silver as well as clad. Hope this helps.
