Have attached some photo's of sites I am going to revisit with the Quattro. The first one is an area of gold diggins which is usually about 40 feet under water but due to the drought we are experiencing at the moment the dam has dried up. The others are your typical 1800's Australian farm houses........Ken.

Wow, Ken looks like your typical great outback of Australia! What fantastic looking house sites. I reckon you'll get heaps of stuff around them. Also it's amazing that the stone walling and/or chimney survived after being covered with water in that dam. Are you going for gold too? I have to say it, but I wish I was there too!! All the best detecting them, and please let us know how you go.

great pictures and potentially great sites
i wish you the best of luck...............
just watch out fer the creepy crawlies....
waiting to ambush you....as a matter of interest
do you carry anything fer self defence.
HH Paul.

Hi Paul, I don't carry anything for protection. It's really not that bad. In the summer if you're out in the bush you just have to keep a bit of an eye out for snakes, usually they're happy to go off in another direction. With the spiders etc you just make sure you don't stick your hands in places you can't see into. Now were heading into the winter months you don't have to be so carefull.......Ken.

Looks beautiful there. Would be great to detect even if you don't find much. Good luck - looks promising.
