Single Frequency.. With salt Compensate

Hi all,
I was at the beach again today. I was trying to use 7.5 single frequency with salt compensate. Figuring that I could get a little deeper using one frequency instead of three.

Is this possible. whenever I tried, it would take off the salt compensate, and my V3i would go crazy.

I think salt compensate mode is 3F only - also defaults to salt in ground(not normal ground) - hope that's not confusing. Hope you get er figured out.

That is right, salt compensate cannot be used in single frequency. Salt ground can be used in single frequency but salt compensate is the only way to go at the beach.
