I have a couple more questions. You guys (and gals) are a great resource for info. The Cibola is advertised as having ED 180. Is this like a circuit that changes the phase response of iron 180 degrees to eliminate it's response? I had a device like that a few years ago that I bought for my xlt that was supposed to change the irons response but I never did use it. Also, how do you tell (or can you) what kind of target you have under the coil if the machine uses a mono tone response? I know there are indicators such as soft sounds and sounds that sound dragged, etc? I am asking because my excal also uses tone response but there are different tones for the conductivity of the various metals, as you know. I just want as much info as I can get before I buy the Cibola. Thanx gang.....

There are some older post on this forum by Monte that explain it quite well, could not locate them, maybe someone else can.
