Since the Gold Bug pro has been available for months from Cabelas, had anyone tried one?

The Gold Bug pro has not being available for months from Cabelas

They sell the basic goldbug, and a few members on here have tried them,and said there very good.

The goldbug SE is now available from dealers which is the same as the Cabelas version but has upgraded audio

The Gold Bug pro is not available from anyone yet

Apparently by what someone else has said in another thread the only difference between the SE and the PRO will be the higher price and a choice between which coil you have, there will be no additional software upgrades
 
That's what I saw as well. Just a higher price and a choice between the 5" or the 11"DD coil. It would be cool if they added some assorices to go along with it..
 
I think for the higher price it should be something special giving the choise of what coil you have is a bit of an insult

If it is a pro it should be better and have some kind of software updates

Buy the SE now its cheap $499 and then buy a 11 coil as an accessorie this way you get the machine plus both coils for the same price they will be asking for the pro
