Any of you put a larger than stock coil on a machine WITHOUT ground balance? How did it work out for you?
 
I've put larger than standard coils on several different preset ground balance detectors. Golden
 
I have put the CSC, and 10X12 on my Cortes with no problem at all. As well as two smaller coils.
The best advise I can off is try it, and see.
Unless you find it does not work on your particular machine you should not have to sent it back to the factory.
 
Well of course you can put any coil on a machine with ground balance like your cortes. I asked about a machine without.
