I get to stay out after dark. Waded in the lake till 9:30pm(real dark), thankfully the most dangerous thing that inhabits the lakes around here are Birkenstocked liberals. No need to worry 'bout gators, snakes etc.

Dug a ton of .22cal cartridges and some other junk. The silver necklace is a honker. One ring is Gold Filled 10K that has lost it's fillings. Beautiful night out there, but navigating home in total darkness is interesting, however we do have the technology, just like ILS, but you gotta trust your instruments. One of the more helpful techniques is to whistle past the rocks, just like you whistle past a cemetery while walking at night.

I didn't make it to the water last night. I took the kids to the library last night. But it did turn into a treasure hunt after all. When we got home my youngest was minus 1 shoe:yikes: So I went hunting at 6:00am this morning. I found it...... right where she dropped it  Not exactly what I had in mind for my next hunt!

Just gotta ask. Was that for echo location or are there the spirits of old Pirates hiding in the cracks and crevices?

I gotta get wet soon. I'm in gold withdrawal big time.
