I bought a N.I.B. Bandido II uMax (Treasure Depot classifieds) from a retired Tesoro dealer and at the recommendation from James Gifford had it sent directly to Tesoro to have it checked out before it was sent to me. I was told by their ever efficient receptionist that my machine arrived on Thursday 30th of October and they had checked it out and sent it out the same day. Four days later, two of them weekend days, I receive my machine on Monday 3rd November. Boy, that was fast !! Inside the box, along with my machine, was a note from Rusty Henry the service manager; Dear Roy, We're not sure why (your dealer) sent this unit in......it works great. Bandido II uMax's are some of the top all-around units ever, and very seldom fail. I am enclosing an extra simplified sheet of instructions in case there was some questions about the operation. Sincerely, Rusty Henry (Service Manager)...... I can't thank the people involved enough, and it's little things like this that helps smooth out the ever present rough spots in life and makes this hobby so much more enjoyable............

You are absolutely right about their service, I've never seen better. I saw that Bandido 2 mmax for sale and even though i have one i was tempted. Hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine. Give it time and you'll be amazed what you can tell from the signal strength and how it breaks.
