Simplex question

Anyone had theirs long enough to find out how well you can disc. out the old rusty bottle caps?
Thinking about buying one but one of the over 100 year old rural parks I like to hunt is paved in bottle caps in places.

The Simplex+ has a factory DD coil and I have not seen a DD coil that DIDN'T like rusty crown bottle caps. However, there are ways that most bottle caps, but certainly not all, can be eliminated and I would imagine the Simplex+ DD coil can be used in the same way as with other detectors. I use the wiggle and move back while listening for the iron grunt method and swing over the target and raise the coil while watching the numbers on the LCD and seeing the numbers quickly falling lower. (Thank goodness that the Simplex+ will have an adjustable iron audio to help hear the iron.) Either, or both of these methods will greatly help in eliminating digging those pesky crown caps. I anticipate this and will give the Simplex a good workout to discover what methods will work for me in my trashy parks that are also loaded with those darned caps as well as pull tabs and thousands of shards of different sizes and shapes of foil.
