Simplex as a Gold prospecting machine?

Would be interesting if anyone has tested Simplex upon gold nuggets? Certainly some of our folks from Australia has already had the same curiosity?

Theoretically in All Metal at 12 kHz, it should work on .25 gram nuggets at 1 to 2 inches (3 to 5 cm) depth using a smaller coil if it will ground balance on bad ground and if it can handle hot rocks. In milder ground and or larger gold it should be no problem. If it was running at 20 to 30 kHz it would be awesome for nugget detecting. I have prospected with the Multi Kruzer at 19 kHz in fairly bad ground with success. The Gold Kruzer works fantastic. I hope the Simplex has some of the same DNA as the Anfibios and Kruzers.
