Simplex arrived monday

Received mine this week. Great depth and discrimination in test garden. Cant wait to get in the field. Only one problem with mine and no big deal.
The lower rod isnt tight when swinging has alittle play in it. Middle tightener must be need something. Any suggestions on that?

I didn’t experience that with mine. Mine seems to lockup tight .

You may have the lower rod pulled out too far. Try pulling the middle rod out a little more and pushing the lower rod in a little more. Hope that helps.
