Simple, Uncluttered Flower Picture...........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
This pictured was taken with my Sony NEX-6 camera with a vintage manual operated Minolta MD Celtric 200mm F4 prime lens at the following settings: F5.6, 1/640, IS0 200, "Daylight" white balance, manual focus, Manual Mode. I used a tripod and remote control. Lighting conditions were not the best, barely acceptable in my humble opinion. I chose to use F5.6 so that I could blur the background. Very little photo editing was done using Corel Paintshop Pro X4, mostly resized and added the border. This lens is approximately 45 years old, and still capable of producing a good picture if used properly. Kelley (Texas) :)

I think "capable of producing a good picture" is a bit of an understatement Kelly.........that's a cracking shot, love it.
I doubt you would have produced anything any better with a modern lens.......that's about as good as it gets.

Amazing crispness. One very beautiful picture.
