Simple question

For my Ace 250 I have the stock and sniper coil.

Is it worth getting the 9X12? Or do you find it something you don't use much?

Thanks,

Dan

I use mine quite a bit. It works well in large areas that aren't too trashy. You can cover allot of ground more quickly than with the standard coil.

A question for you, how do you like the sniper coil?

Actually, I use it more than the stock coil. It's extremely stable (crank up the sensitivity), quick and deep for it's size. It makes the 250 lighter and just really easy to swing.

If you have need of 2-3 inches more in depth and hunt large areas where you need more coverage it's hard to beat. All a matter of choice.

Since I bought the large coil, I don't use my stock coil anymore. Get it! It gets better depth and covers more area, yet remains sensitive to tiny objects.

Got the 9x12 and have not used the stock coil since. Covers more area, pinpoints like a dream, and goes an average of 1.5 to 2 inches deeper than the stock, according to my experiences. I credit this coil for finding items where the stock coil may have barely missed due to it's size.
