Simple meter mount

Tony

Member
Because I hipmount my Sov GT and therefore need as much cable length as possible, I decided to mount the old style meter right next to the arm cuff. I just wrapped some velcro around the cuff and meter.
This meter is calibrated for Aussie coins.

It is just so easy to read the meter and the balance is even better with the extra weight where it should be.

Reading the meter is effortless, it's like reading a watch...just a slight turn of the elbow and the meter is perfect to read. I also wanted the extra cable length that the meter provides as I'm using the SEF coil (which is definitely a problem with the stock cable about 12" too short)...okay if you're not hip mounting.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are often the best...no meter mounts and extras needed.

Tony.
