Silver!

Not too often I find anything older than me let alone silver (which is hard to come by around here). Had about 45 minutes to kill this afternoon and hit a local park. (Redman: it's the park I first took you to) Got this about 10" down. Almost fooled me. It was on edge and bouncing all over the place... but it sounded too good to pass up.

I've learned about "iffy" signals hunting at the beach. In the packed wet sand, I basically dig everything (not a lot of trash). Since the digging is easy, I started digging a lot of one way junky signals. Sometimes cherries, sometimes pits but more often than not I've found coins... even a couple of rings / earrings. I've picked up some really deep coins this way. It's not unusual to get down well over a foot deep at the beach; 18" is not impossible. As you can imagine, the initial signal is not that strong / stable but there's stuff you can do on the Exp to push it a bit.

Yeah right

Went back for about an hour this morning... did a lot of listening for deep targets, but not much digging. I'll save that for another time. Did find another Chuckie Cheese token though
