I went north for some Morale mushroom picking, (did quite well this year) and when searching for that tasty treat, I found the ring in the grass. Then on my way home I met up with some friends at an old school for a little metal detecting were I found the well worn silver Liberty Quarter, cant make out the date. This is my first of hopefully many more. The others found a Silver neckless and two silver dimes and a few wheat backs. It was a great weekend.

Silver is always good. More to come I'm sure.

Those are a couple of nice finds Gary :clapping:

Howdy Gary mi--

It sounds and looks like you had a VERY good day. Aside from the mushrooms, you dug a dandy sterling silver ring and one of my all-time favorite coins: the Liberty Standing Quarter! Good job. I hope that you dig some more. Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!

Love Morale mushrooms.
Still much too cold here for them to appear.
If it doesn't warm up soon the season might not happen.
Great find.
