Has anyone used a Silver

They're great-you can leave it in min. disc. and ignore the broken signals. The pinpointing is super fast-I usually hit the spot on the return sweep. A pinpoint button would slow me down! It's called "magic eye" pinpointing and is nothing more than freezing your eye on the spot where the center of the coil passes and makes the loudest beep.

I participate it two good sized planted hunts every summer. We see a lot of Silvers and similar

Another good thing is that they are so light that the competition usually tires out long before you.
