Got this beauty with the ace 250 here in the uk last week.
Nice deep find at 9" and in great condition.
Dated 1929

I was very impressed with 9" find.....it is a big coin though so not supprised.
The soil conditions were real good....nice and damp light fluffy soil.
I consistantly dig coins at over 7" with the 250 and have found some great coins and artifacts.
The only thing I would moan about is the machine does not come with a coil cover..........what is all that about.........here in the uk I cant get one for another 2 months.......why dont they add the coilcover to the cost of the machine and put one in.
That would make it a faultless package then.

Coil covers are a nice accessorie. I use them but not everyone does. I tend to srape the ground at times or bang rocks. You really don`t need one for grassy areas and such.

It should be in the box as part of the detector.
It is an outdoor instrument and this means it is going to take a lot of bashing around.
Just don't understand it.
You wouldn't dream of buying a car without Wipers??
Just my gripe.........first detector I have ever bought without a coil cover.
Apart from that it is a fun machine.

Been using the 7 x 10 Rhino without a coil cover for near 2 yrs. now and hardly a scratch on it except for the chunk I knocked out of it whacking it on a rock and frankly, if I would have had a coil cover on it, the chunk would have come out anyways as hard a I hit it(I was falling and doing some flailing around). And it still works too!! These babys are tough, not like the hollow, round coils. I like not having to put a coil cover on that traps water, sand, dirt, etc...Swing away and don't worry!!
