Here's a little something for all you snow birds. Took the MXT out the other day and found a piece of .925 and what looks to be a "new" pair of polarized Oakleys. I am loving the new 6x8 s.e.f. coil. I think it goes just as deep, a lot more stable around the saltwater and a lot lighter. I love all the drunks that play on the beaches here. I also found a $25 dollar bill under one of the tables at Calico Jacks (a restaurant/bar) here on public beach. I worked most of the area at this beach the day before and didn't find anything except C&T (change and trash). It just goes to show that everyday is full of new opportunities.

Now that's a few great finds. I bet who ever lost the Oakley's are regretting that last drink. :buds: They do look like brand new. Cute ring also. What's the $25 bill? A certificate from the bar? We're are getting cabin fever here. It's to snow another 2" or so in a couple days and C-O-L-D! HH, Nancy

Glad you like the 6x8, what are you comparing it to as far as depth? I have a M6 and am seriously thinking of getting a 6x8 this summer, I have the stock and a 5.3. Just thinking the 6x8 maybe the best all purpose coil.

The comparison of coils was referring to the stock 9.5 concentric coil on the MXT. It definitely separates the trash much better than the round coil. If you have the stock 5.3 coil, you may not notice much of a difference in the weight like I did....but I feel like I am just swinging a broom handle compared to the stock 9.5 I had on it or the 10 inch on the excalibur.

Nancy-IL : As for the $25 dollar bill thing, Grand Cayman has $25 bills as opposed to the $20 US bills.

Thanks Chris. Oh to be in the Grand Caymans now! [attachment 151953 Resting.jpg] That would work! HH, Nancy

Thanks, but not thanks BJ. Every year about this time, I always start getting cabin fever. Maybe we should move to Costa Rica. Ohhh H-O-N-E-Y.....[attachment 151957 imagesCA7LGCWV.jpg] HH, Nancy

Kelley, in south Texas does not have any snow, but he has rain about every day....So to muddy there.

Now that's a lot of gold BJ. At first I thought it was caramel corn. Sounds like we'll be sticking around here in this glorious Illinois state of confusion. Maybe next year. Come one Spring!!! HH, Nancy

the rain may be moving out of here later tonight or in the morning. Guess what, it is headed your way...maybe more snow and ice? After seeing the snow that everyone is getting, I dare not complain about this rain. I still remember what the winters were like when I attended college north of the Red River...windy and cold, often snow and Ice. Hang in there, six more weeks and it may be over. Kelley (Texas) :)

about 2 or 3 more storms headed our way, enough of this...
And we still have people with out Elect.,,,I would hate to be a lineman.
Even my dog's have cabin fever....There trying to get a mouse out of the live trap...
We may dry out by Aug.....
