Silver WINS 3-1

SILVER 3, Indians 1

As Larry said, we went detecting an old place and I found 3 silvers to 1 Indian Cent. 1927-D Merc, Sterling ring with a stone, and a FIRST for me was the Sterling thimble. Only found 3 wheat cents there along with a small handful of clad. I couldn't last long detecting but I would sit in the truck for a bit and go back at it. Sure glad I did. On return trips is when I found the ring, the Indian cent and the silver thimble. :wiggle: The ground wasn't concrete and not too bad digging. I was surprised to see a green lawn. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

Awesome! You guys know how to find the good hunting. :)!

Troy, Sometimes you hit a good yard and many times you don't. A few years ago we had permission to hunt an OLD LARGE corner lots with a HUGE Victorian house and we didn't even find so much as a wheat cent. I'll never forget that house in Streator. The guy was doing repairs on his (just purchased) house and we stopped and asked if we could detect it. He was fine with it. Boy, we really got skunked on that one. Then there's small yards that we've hunted and "PAYDAY". You just never know. HH, Nancy

Thanks Neil, I'm favoring the silver thimble. I've found others but never a silver one. :wiggle: HH, Nancy
