Well, I had gotten tired of trying for all those gold rings, so I slipped on my 4" coil for the second time and put the Silver at the point where the tabs just "click" and had another couple of hunts. Found a few coins next to tabs and was able to find some coins against sidewalks and posts because of the small coil. The Batman "brass knucks" gave an iffy signal one way and clicked the other way, and I just dug it out of curiosity. The nickels were found because I hit a sort of tot lot area and turned the Silver down to foil. It's settled-in a couple of weeks I'll have the 5.75" coil and will probably never take it off.
