[size=large]Are you confusing the Silver Sabre

The one on the left is a Silver Sabre uMax.
If that is what you are talking about,
it was made earlier than the current
Silver uMax.

It is a more expensive Silver model. It
has a threashold based all metal mode
which the current Silver doesn't.The
all metal mode is accessed by a red
pinpoint button.

It's a very fun machine, just like all the
Silver models.

The Silver line is a real good bunch of
detectors.

The're are many happy users to back up
my statement. So I feal very comfortable
saying that.

The Silver line is one of my favorites.

Happy Hunting,

forget it -it's gone.
item 280247613352
sold for $200 but it now.
Just wondering about the micro which he stated is much more than the silver umax

I think the "U" in umax is actually the greek letter mew (rather than a letter u - we don't have the correct symbol on a standard keypad) which is short for micro.

Hi;
it is not the SILVER UMAX.
I emailed the seller and it was definitely a micro.
I did some hunting around and found this site.http://comlast.com/tesoro/silvermm.html
I might get one of these. It said the Silver Sabre Micro Umax regular price is $379.
you can get a new one for $303 with free air shipping and headphones.
Problem is.I am going to get one,but which one.
It is really confusing.
Goldem, silver, silver sabre and now the silver sabre micro.
I bought a tejon with extra coil and shaft but that is another story.
Haven't recieved it yet.
I sold my Eagle Spectrum and MXT.
I don't have any right now but I am going to get one of those Umax baby's and use it until I know it inside out.
thanks for the replies.

When I chose I had a look at all of the features of the current models on tesoro's website and then read some reviews of real users on detectorreviews.net. There certainly is plenty of choice; I know it made my head spin for a while!

OK:
I see now it is not a Umax but Micro Max.
My error. Silver sabre micro max.
Wonder why it is over $100 more the the just plain silver umax.
I am going to do some research.
