Silver Umax been repaired/tuned

Got a call from Michelle at Tesoro, my silver had arrived. They will repair problem, retune and ship back to me for $50, happy about that. She said the used silver had been tampered with, some of the wires had been unsoldered, resoldered by someone who probably owned it at one time and just messed things up inside, machine was having problems hitting on an american quarter. Atleast now I will have a silver like factory new. Tesoro has outstanding service. I may have to rethink about buying used machines, what if it had been a machine without lifetime warranty, wonder how much that would of cost then? HH

Glad you are going to get it back like new. But keep in mind not all used machines have been tampered with , I have bought a lot of used detectors like a lot of others on here it is unfortunate that what happened with the Silver happened but it does , I have only had one detector that had a problem after I got it . But that is the good thing about Tesoro they are a great company to deal with congrats on a fine detector
