I found out that when using the Silver U max all metal that when in all metal mode on small Iron the disc knob still functions but in reverse, so you can tune it in to reject things like staples and bobby pins and yet hear nails that may be masking good targets, or if you want good depth turn the disc knob to the right for more depth wile in all metal i found that i could then air test a shot shell @ 10" in air and a dime at 8" [video]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_vVQBrDPVo&list=UUfFZXjVZpEw1JYpyToWP_fQ[/video]
