Silver & Turquoise, One Of My Favorite Digs!

Water detecting is usually a last resort for me, when the weather gets really cold. Sounds crazy. but it's the only place to go around here in the pan handle of Idaho, during the winter. Not everything is frozen yet but, we had a huge storm the other night and we saw 70+ mph winds. It was crazy! Trees uprooted everywhere. What it did do, was cause the waves to crash on the shore and erode the shoreline. One beach saw a 4' drop at the edge. This means new virgin ground exposed. I even found a gold class ring from the 60's, that was an eyeball find.
So I saw the sandy beach literally pulled into the water and had to get the insulated waders out and give my beach scoop a work out. That's when I found this little beauty, a turquoise and sterling silver ring, marked .925 with a hall mark. I did manage to catch it on my GoPro Hero 3, hope you like it. It's a short clip, so you won't get bored watching me dig pull tabs. like some guys do. Life is short, Go Get You some!

That's a very pretty ring. Congrats. Had similar weather events (3) here at Myrtle Beach
and went detecting. More metal detectors on the beach than I have ever seen before. Found
some small gold pendants and a silver but when that wind and water works for you, you gotta go.

Silver and turquoise is also one of my most favorite types of jewelry to find and that one is a real beauty.
WTG!

Nice ring there,but even nicer than the ring are those insulated gloves ,i like um... i had to cut the long sleeves off of one of my old wetsuits so i could keep water hunting while wearing chest waders , but i dont have any gloves so the fingers get chilly... those look real warm and not too restrictive in motion..

Bootyhoundpa;
You can find these at your local Cabelas, for duck hunting. Their normally used to lay out and retrieve decoys. Nice and long.
