Silver trifecta at the beach this morning...2 rings and a 1943 nickel and some other items.

What a gorgeous morning out there today !

Hunted 3 1/2 hrs. following the low tide out and back in.

Found an antique spoon marked "SUPER PLATE HOLMES & EDWARDS INLAID".

Holmes & Edwards silver company was established in the late 1800's in Bridgeport Ct. In 1898, along with 13 other silver companies, Holmes and Edwards became part of the founding of International Silver Company.


I believe this spoon is vintage early 1900's.
