or something like that ab:nerd: I have been detecting quite a bit the last couple years. Maybe not as much as some of the full timers out there but I would say about 5-10 hours a week if I am lucky. Any way I finally had a 3 silver day 1929,1941,and 1943 Merc dimes. I also found 9 wheats and 1 1936 Buffalo nickle. I have yet to find a silver half of dollar???? Someday soon I hope. Thanks for reading

I should know. I only found 1 Walker when I had my Bounty Hunter Select 220-d Big Bud Pro and after I got my Explorer, I found 2 Barber Halves in one hole and also found a Barber Half in my dads yard. So don't get discouraged. I must have a total of 15 or more halves I have found since the fall of 2001 and when you start to find them, you will find more than just the one. Good luck to you and HH.

as for finding silver half of dollar - well the large coins get found first. I believe '64 was last year for silver half dollars - so you up your chances by hunting places used prior to 1960's (the older the better).
