Silver Tones and 2D graph location

Hi All,
I'm new to the explorer and haven't found any silver yet. Does someone have a sound file of what the tones sound like and a picture of where it places on the 2D graph? I'm trying to get myself learned on all the tones so I don't miss anything. Thanks alot.
Chris

Chris, the tone of older silver coins don't always sound as the typical clean silver sound, I have learned to trust the smart screen for the ID of silver as they seem to always be halfway off the screen in the upper right corner & they bounce around in the upper right corner. Another thing is you will always hear a sound before the x-hairs move so work slowly & you will have an easier time. As far as the sounds find yourself the dirtyest coins you can find & do air tests with your head phones on & wave the coins on edge& so forth. Good luck & HH....Chris In Georgia

From what I can see and correct me if I'm wrong I have found some merc's and silver quarters and silver rings with my XS! I have also went out purchased about every silver coin that I could buy so I could air test with them and learn from them. I have a silver 3 cent piece and the cross hairs never hit the top of the screen!! but most other silvers will! Also there is a slightly lower tone to me in the 3cent piece vice vs the Merc's,Seated,Barbers!!! Also a barber Quarter makes a higher pitch tone than does a seated dime!!! I hope this helps =))
