When the clerk handed me my change for lunch today I noticed a familliar ring to it and noticed one of my quarters was a 1957-D ! I didn't even have to dig .Keep your eyes (and ears ) open . And yes, I went back and got 3dollars in quarters just to make sure.

I save all my quarters I get in change in a gallon wine jug for vacation fun money.
The jug is almost full and every time I put quarters in I look for silver but haven't found any yet.
One of these days you would think there will be one.

A friend of mine got a 1941 Mercury in change the other day at a mini-mart...he said he would have asked for a different dime if I hadn't shown him my finds...haha!

I have heard that older women, after husband's die, they spend the jar of coins that grandpa hung on too. I love the hunt, gettin that silver is "extra".
Have fun "swinging".
