Well last week I found the 43(p) nickel and the 44 quarter that I posted ealier and today after the honey do list I went to a 1908 house and got one good 4 inch signal the rest were 2 inches and it turned out to be a 1917(s) merc Happy hunting to all

Nice Dime, I have been hunting a few parks in Virginia (just got my AT Pro 2 months ago) and have been practicing, but the parks are filled with dredge from the rivers and full of pull tabs and shredded cans - but I am able to pull out clad coins easily though. I haven't gotten up the nerve to go out private property hunting yet, but before this month is over I'll be knocking on doors. I have found some old home sites in farm fields and off the main roads, but it's quite a drive from here. Virginia Beach is really only good for beach hunting I guess, since it's really just covered all over with dredge and the land is all swamp that was drained off in the 1950's.

good luck smell, hope you get into some private property, I got lucky and met a guy who owns about 100 houses that he rents here in tacoma and as tenants move out I get to go in and detect the property most of the houses he owns are from 1902 - 1960s. this is the 5th dime I have pulled from his properties and I have detect about 14 properties so far,
