silver sabre umax

Does anyone here use a silver sabre umax. I found one for $198.00.it seems like a good machine. If i buy it i wonder if Tesoro will look it over and test it out.I am deciding between this and a new silver umax.
 
I have two and due to the audible threshold setting the SSumax is (imho) the somewhat better choice of the two. They're an excellent, light and handy detector.

I have a Silver Sabre uMax.

They offer a threshold based all metal mode. The Silver uMax does not.

The Silver Sabre uMax cost about $60 more new than the Silver uMax.

It does offer more. But the performance in the discrimination mode is
about the same.

I like the SS uMax better. I replaced the pin point push button with a
switch on mine. That way I can hunt in all metal with out having to hold
the button down.

Both are good machines. Just depends on your needs.
