Last night I went to a kids waterpark with my Tesoro and spent a few hours of where I usually go with my Minelab Xterra 70 w/18.75KHz dd coil in the exact same area's...I took upon the suggestions and put my sabre disc. on 1 and sens at 9 and the very first find was the small fine gold chain, earing and various coins...Right now I am finding way more coins and jewellery with my Tesoro than my Minelab...This morning I was at a different popular beach on grass with my Tesoro w/same settings and found the most coins $12.00 than my Minelab has ever found and now I am thinking of going back to all the school's and park's I worked my Minelab on with my Tesoro thinking that my Minelab has missed...

Very nice, I agree simple is better, I gave up all my "bells and whistle" machines after discovering what Tesoro's are capable of. No one can convince me a $2000 to $5000 machine can do any better than a Tesoro.
I definitely think you should re hunt those areas, it's like a whole new world of discovery awaits you, I get a similar feeling when i try my different machines in past hunted areas. Good luck!

I understand exactly what you are talking about guys. My two Tesoros have found all my gold finds. And it isn't for lack of trying with the F75 (standard) . I have dug an insane amount of junk foil and tabs etc. With the 75 but my stingray and cutlass uMax are my gold finders. In fact the stinger found over $1600 in gold finds last year , which that little $300 eBay buy paid for all my machines and then some.
Really have been thinking about getting a Golden or maybe a Bandido/Vaquero. But the Golden just has me itching for those big sports fields
