Awesome combo! Got to love that old audio! This is from yesterday, first day detecting in a month. Went out for an hour sunday morning as well, couple bits of the trash are from then. All the coins etc are from one session. Couple of the bits of trash were picked up from the surface so I coud check under them. My r2 and new updated mxs haven't even been out of the house yet. Go's to show, Tesoro's can hold their own!

A varied and the usual suspects are rounded up, no meters needed if you understand the audio. Analog audio with modulation rules.

Couldn't even begin to tell you how many detectors I've owned since the 60's that had meters,,, don't believe I ever paid any attention to any of them.

That's funny you should mention this combo. I have a Silver Sabre u-max and a Cleansweep coil arriving on Monday. These Tesoro's are just to much fun to be kept in the closet for any length of time!

Have just been offered a as new Cleansweep for my Laser B3 for a very advantageous price,so could well add another coil to the ever expanding coil arsenal, must be getting well over 40 coils at the moment in the arsenal :)

Please forgive my ignorance but you are talking about a silver sabre ųmax not the modern silver ųmax, right?

Ok. Figured so lol. Thanks

I was thinking of getting rid of mine now I got a bandido ii but, it's one of those machines that I know I'd just end up trying to get again. Something about it just clicks, the one detector I've had that's paid for It's self. Good luck with your hunt!

Your right! I took my SS umax out with the Cleansweep coil yesterday and couldn't believe the depth I was getting. I was getting pennies and dimes at 5 inches. I even pulled a couple of wheats. I have the 20th anniversary silver Sabre micro max version and this one is hot! Even Rusty said it was one of the hottest ones he's seen.
