Silver Sabre II gets it done today!

My partner and I spent about 5 hours today hunting a couple of old homesites...we found a few coins and mostly trash, but I got a good signal using the Silver Sabre 2 while in Disc 3 that disappeared when I turned Disc to 5. Thought it was going to be another piece of can slaw, but was surprised to see a little 1.3g 10K engagement ring at only 2" deep! First gold of 2016!

We are planning a return visit to both houses once the ground finally thaws, which will hopefully be sooner than later. Have an F70 en route, but it wouldn't have done much good today with the frozen dirt!

Nice finds and congrats on the gold....the Silver Sabre II was one of my first machines, and I still regret trading it in (but dont regret getting the machine I traded it in for). Most of the time I kept the disc on 2, and found a lot of good targets with the machine. Keep up the good work, I'm sure you'll do well with it..you"re off to a great start. HH Pete
