Silver ring

Here is a silver ring i found over the Christmas break over here in England,I think it could be victorian. The stone is a very deep red and i think it is made of glass.Sometimes,it is more interesting to find an older ring than a modern wedding band.It was found in the black sand layer of a local beach at quite a depth.

Nice find - it would be fun to track it's vintage down. Maybe put the pic on some forums ? Good doing, Steve in so la
