Silver ring

Found this really cool ring that opens up the band is broken and straightened out. Pretty stone looks like opal not sure if its a real opal but found it at an old homesite

Cool ring!!! Congrats!!........Maybe one of those poison or snuff compartment rings.Too bad it was not complete.
Hard to tell from the pic,...stone looks more blue like a Sapphire?...Good luck on the next ones....

It changes color in the light . It has all different colors. According to the way the light hits it.

Now that is a really interesting neat old silver ring. Can it be repaired?

I plan on taking it to the jeweler to see what the stone is. And maybe see if I could get a band put on it.
