silver replacing gold ?

Its a slow go on the treasure coast,it seems silver is replacing gold in this hard times and beach atendanse is droping,or im i in a slump.Wait the forth is around the corner the weater is going to be good ,i got to go put new batteries in my AT.
 
What I'm finding more and more of are Titanium and Tungsten rings....depressing..they're pretty, but what can you do with 'em!!

We've mentioned these before. Stainless is also showing up as jewelry in increasing amounts. I reckon it is inevitable.

Silver will become the new gold... that is probably a given. And many years ago, men and women wore brass or copper wedding rings, simply because gold was not affordable.

It is only in fairly recent, more affluent times that we have seen so much of the yellow stuff. But the prices of precious metals are climbing, middle class affluence wanes daily and global demand for these elements continue to mount. Remember, these metals also have industrial and other applications beyond their purely ornamental uses. More people than ever want them, for all sorts of reasons...

We probably shouldn't be surprised if they fall into short supply.
