Silver quarter - Vaquero - been awhile

I took the Vaquero with stock coil to the local park today . Set the sens way high , balanced neutral and min. disc. just hoping too find some deep stuff everyone else missed . There was one great sounding target , quiet but mellow and consistent . I was predicting a dime or penny six inches or deeper . The ground was hard and the very first pile of dirt was a 1963 quarter . It was two inches deep max . Hundreds of detectors have went in this area . It must have been on edge making it hard to find but the Vaquero snagged it . That Vaquero is one dang lucky unit .

Good find.I'll have a Vaquero before next season. What coil were you using ?I like that hammer head. Odd, but I like finding stuff like that but the silver is a great find.

Really nice silver, congrats.
