Silver quarter, first for the year...

In a neighbor's lawn I have searched a million times.
A one way hit, a few higher numbers in the 30's but still jumping up and down a lot.
Typical masking issues I just have to deal with...that's why I got the Nox.

On this one it was the tone.
Sweet sounding short one that repeated if I came at it from one really specific direction.
Something in that tone just made me dig it and I was rewarded.

I think the Nox and I are starting to gel.

Yea, the screen is helpful but the tones are where it's at on this thing.
I have used Tesoros for years, learned the language pretty well and this is a similar experience.
There is an expressive language to these tones, the more I listen the more little clues I seem to be noticing and my volume of great finds is growing.

Rare for me too, last one I found was a long sought Barber and that was a year ago.
Silver dimes are great but a little more common, quarters are rare and special and halves and dollars...for many bucket list and lifetime events.
