I was searching the grounds of an old burned out Camper sometime around 1952, and found what appears to ringout as silver? took it to a Gold and Silver Shop and they told me it was Al.????
Will Aluminum ringout the same as Silver????

Thanks

Wow - those melted beer cans I dig around old camp fires sure ring up like silver and they give a short sharp tone just like silver. Damned those melted beer cans!!! AT Gold

Ya can't just dig silver.

Recycle the Al. One can saves as much electricity as it takes to run a TV for three hours.

I feel good about that.

Aluminum drives most of us insane...It will usually ring between 48 and 55, but I have had chunks ring as high as 68...

HH,
