Silver kind of day..

I haven't been out detecting in a few weeks just too much going on in real life.. I went to a beach I hadn't been to since last year and hunted the rocks at this beach with my Excalibur.. I only got 1 silver coin today but a couple of silver rings and 1 silver medal...I went with the Excal today because there used to be a metal barge parked on the beach and it is loaded with iron flake otherwise I would have hunted with the PI... as it was having the Excal null out on every swing was aggravating enough...

This is my first picture with my new camera as well my other camera drowned.. I like the camera I bought its a Fuji S700 it has pretty good reviews and so far its pictures have been pretty good.

Mine was self inflicted.. I put it in a bag with a bottle of diet coke that I thought was closed.. I was wrong after I hunted I went to take pictures of my friends gold and my camera was sitting in 3 inches of coke I washed it and took it apart and dried it with a dryer and it turned on but then made a sizzling noise and that was it lol... $400 dollars down the drain..

You could always turn down the discrimination. I found out yesterday that my detector picked up gold even with a deeper iron target that nulled out the detector without the gold present. Gold ring was above the iron target and I got a good signal on regular low discrimination setting. Bob Excal 2
