Got a fairly new camera and finally remembed to take it with me Sunday.
When I got a glint of silver, I carefully scraped away a little more dirt for the picture. I had been detecting for about two hours and this was the first target where the numeric readout made me hope for silver.
That first flash of white when you get silver is such a great feeling that I'm going to try to remember to take my camera to freeze the moment and get some shots in the ground when I can.
Hunted with the F5 Sunday, and that's what I'm going to be using most of the time now.
Unfortunately the economic stress of a once-in-a-lifetime event (thank God!) called my daughter's wedding has me and the wife scrounging for cash and so I put my F75 LTD package up for sale in the classifieds.
For any of you who have ever been in a need $ situation and have to sell something you really don't want to, you know what I'm going through.
Unfortunately, I need the $800 more than the detector. The only upside is that even if it's not in the legendary category like the boost mode F75s, I still have my F5 and it's a fine detector that I have a lot of fun with.
