Silver in 3 straight hunts!

Straight to the facts, then the story. Returned to a blighted park for some turf action with the F75. Since adopting the delta pitch and dig only deep targets religion, I've found wheat pennies on every hunt and silver in 4 of the last six.

Retrieved 20 targets in 3.5 hrs, 10 wheaties (

- - proof of the concept.

Ron,

Thanks for the kudos. I hope to get my fourth straight hunt with silver this weekend and will certainly be ignoring all shallow and mid-depth signals in an effort to get there! I know a guy here in CA that had 50 straight turf hunts with silver coins! Something to shoot for! - Jim

Ive got plenty of areas downtown where the F70 might be able to produce. Ill try it.

- - was this done with the stock coil on the F70?

Seems like your concept works so looking forward to you next post. Usually old coins in a particuliar area are all around the same depth which is a plus however always that exception to the rule and have found them an inch or so deep.I think its all about getting used to the new kid on the block and you seemed to haved proved that with your unit..
Heck it was months before I became comfortable with my CZ6 in 1992 and look forward to more plus stories on the new Fisher line of F units...

dahut,

This was with the stock coil on the F75. I found it important to dig only targets that maxed-out on the depth meter, even ignoring targets that registered between medium and max depths. Of course, I initially calibrated the site by digging several mid-depth targets to see if any of them were oldies. Not a one. Sure, I might miss a few goodies this way, but I'm really increasing the odds of digging the old coins by only digging deep. - Jim

Darn! I'm sorry you said that.
I guess I'll need to get the big snowshoe DD for my F70 then, If I'm to duplicate your results.
