Silver, Gold, Platinum & Real Ice:bouncy:

Great day at the beach. Nothing to get excited about until about two hours into the hunt when I got a nice 12-08 signal with a nice low sound, and...out pops a nice little plat/gold ring with REAL ice! The words and numbers on the inside of the ring are a bit baffling. The word "plat" inside a rectangle; K; 1; 5; 2; 5. The gold ring tested 16K. I think the mounting for the diamond, which is white, must be the platinum part? And the ice tested real. If anyone has any insight into the markings on this ring, let me know. After up and down the beach for the next 2 hours I got a real nice solid 12-47 reading and scooped out a .999 silver quarter "round". I've seen these advertised in coin magazines, but I've never actually had one in my hand. These items were found in the dry sand. In the wet sand, while heading back to my car to leave, I found a necklace with 5 pendents. I can't find any markings on any of the pendents or the chain and the chain has no clasp. I'm pretty sure the gold colored pendents are copper or bronze and the white pendents may be silver. The chain, I have no idea what the make up of the chain is or how to find out. Any ideas? Hope all had great hunting this weekend. Here are the pics...

Nice work! :clapping: I always use a magnet on something I dont know what it is...and I smell the metal too...if they pass the magnet and smell, then I try a little acid, or take it into a Jeweler.
