Silver, gold, lead & brass

Nailbender

New member
I hit the beach and a 120 year old home site today for a few hours and found an assortment of metals. At the beach I found a small gold piece, and a nice heavy silver ring, at the homestead was the lead Indian (in not so great shape) and a brass tag that says "Indiana licensed chauffeur, expires Dec 31 1937". I was using the M6 with the stock coil, I just bought a 5.3 and want to get back to the beach and hit the very trashy picnic areas.

You might not think that Indian is in good shape, but I sure do. I would be tickled to bring him home with me. (Sorry Larry) :cheekkiss: Gold, silver and the old items makes for a wonderful day detecting. Can't wait to see what else you find at the old home site. BIG congrats to you Nailbender. HH and thanks for showing us, Nancy

AWESOME Hunts:clapping:
Don't give up on those sites:thumbup:

I'd hit that site again. That is a very nice assortment and shows there probably more older targets. Rob

I have hit it pretty heavy, and found 2 dog licenses from "95" and "65" and a dog ID tag with no date but looks very old it has Rival dog food written on it.
