Silver & Gold in the Same Hole!

I am not a big fan of jewelry hunting, preferring to go relic hunting or coin shooting, but cabin fever set in so I ran up to the local school with my 10 year old and the puppy. The ground was frozen solid so i was only digging surface finds. My son gave me advice and said, "try over there by the taller grass, dad"

I am glad I did! The ground was softer and I pulled out this beautiful Star of David by designer David Yurman made out of .925 silver and .750 (18K) gold!! I googled it and it sells at Sacks & Nieman Marcus for $275!!

I am going to get a chain for this so I can wear it myself!!

Man that is a SWEET find. I'd wear it to even though I'm not Jewish.

Tell you what Neil. I'll send you a self addressed stamped envelope with a five dollar bill inside, you send me that Star and we'll call it an even deal. Great find for sure!!:clapping:

I converted, just so I could wear it! JK. I was born and raised jewish.

Here is the ironic part. The David Yurman star pendent and box chain sells for $275 at Sacks. I want just the sterling chain, so I went out yesterday to a place that carries Yurman. Guess what they charge for the sterling chain without the heavy pendant with 18K on the loop?

They charge $275 for just the chain!!! '

I decided to get a generic sterling box chain for $35, and I am just as happy!

I am sure it is within the last few years. Nice weight on the pendant. It comes in at about 5.5 gms.
