Silver & Gold at the river

I finally made it to the river Saturday and couldn't detect about 4 hours and found so much trash I almost missed a 14K gold find. I worked around the dock where I found my 14K chain a few months ago and found a sterling silver chain that weighed 10.71 grams. It was all over the scale and I thought I had found another chain but it was a small bungee cord.
The 14K heart shaped pendant weighed 1.07 grams. 42 on the DVI. Found 2 q, 1 d and 4 pennies plus a token. Adventure zone on one side and TLC amusement on the other side. Found what I think is a junk ear ring and a butterfly ring, but haven't had time to clean them up and check them yet. Lots of trash in the water. I kept getting so many targets in the 39 to 48 range and found 5-6 pieces of foil that sounded like a good target, I almost didn't dig the gold pendant. Glad I did.

Thanks BCD,
I had to dig a lot of trash to find that little pendant, but it was worth it. Since I wasn't in but waist deep water, I switched back to the stock headphones for the At/Pro for comfort reasons. The Gray Ghost work great but they are so tight on my ears, I've decided to use them until I get my wetsuit and then switch back.

Got out today Leslie and soaked my At/Pro inside the battery holder somehow. I must have bumped the seal or didn't have it sealed all the way. My detector went crazy and no amount of adjusting the frequency or reset could help. Went to the car and changed batteries, changed coils and changed headphones. No good. Tried ground balance in the water that normal balance is mid 70's to high 80's
and it was showing 13 to 23. Went back to shore and took the batteries out because I was using rechargeable batteries and there was water on the battery holder. I took the batteries out and left the plug off for ventilation. Hope this does the trick and I don't have to send it to Garrett. I know they will take care of me, but the water was down about 8 inches in preparation for lots of water from the north and today would have been a great day to hit it hard. The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.
