The gulf usually churns pretty good this time of year and can actually toss goodies up on the beach . I had found a 20' by50' spot where the sand had been scoured on the shallow beach and pushed up on higher. Florida state parks do not permit any water hunting so you pretty much have to wait for these ideal conditions. These were my finds looking for an hour in the morning for 4 days. The diamond ring was found on the fourth day and I believe there is more to work out of this site. The wheatie was also unexpected as silver coins and wheaties are fairly rare due to beach re-nourishment.
